Research Opportunity: Free Access to the 10 Week CBT for Misophonia Program
We are inviting adults aged 18 and older with misophonia to participate in a research opportunity involving the 10 Week Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for Misophonia Program.
Eligible participants will receive FREE access to the full program as part of their participation in the research project.
The 10 Week CBT for Misophonia Program is a self-paced psychoeducational course designed for adults with misophonia. The program provides education about misophonia, structured worksheets, and coping strategies within the CBT-MISO framework.
The course follows the format of the 10 Week Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Workbook for Misophonia and includes psychoeducation and digital worksheets intended to support learning, reflection, and the development of potential coping skills.
Participants can also submit worksheet comments and questions to course author and founder Shaylynn Hayes-Raymond, who responds in a psychoeducational capacity.
Program Format
Reading content, digital worksheets, instructor replies, and messaging.
Program Length
Approximately 10 weeks, completed at your own pace. Participants have up to 6 months to complete the program.
Cost
FREE for eligible research participants.
Eligibility
Participants must be 18 years of age or older and experience misophonia.
This program is provided as psychoeducation and self-help. It is not psychotherapy, counselling, or a replacement for mental health care.
Participation in the research component may involve completing questionnaires or other research measures related to participants’ experiences with misophonia and the program. Full information about study participation, eligibility, consent, privacy, and research procedures will be provided before enrolment.
